Pricing is based on things such as number of accounts and transactions, types of transactions, frequency of services, time needed, and complexity. Please note: all bookkeeping is completed in house. We do not outsource your bookkeeping to other companies.
Catch up and clean up projects typically run several thousand dollars depending on the scope of work. We try to charge a flat fee on these projects as much as possible, though hourly rates are also available. Projects of any size are welcome.
While bookkeeping costs can vary widely, my clients typically see prices in the $400 to $900 per month range. For books with a higher number of accounts or level of complexity, pricing may be in excess of this range. For simple books with few accounts, pricing may fall below this range.
Our tax preparation fees are in accordance with the pricing schedule. Variance from the pricing schedule is an adjustment based on the complexity of a particular return, or particular client. Lack of client organization and/or preparedness at time of tax preparation may result in an additional fee. If specific tax research is required to complete your return your fee may be higher. Not all fees are listed. Tax preparation fees include reasonable email and telephone contact throughout the year as well as simple tax agency correspondence. Additional fees will be charged for technical consultations, extended email and telephone contact, extended tax agency correspondence, and audit representation at hourly rates.
